Pucón day 1

After a 10h bus ride we found ourselves in a much colder Pucón. Nice holiday town farther south with Andes and volcanos around.

Surprisingly we got to sleep quite nicely on the bus so after arrival, we dropped our bags at the hostel and went for a coffee and to shop some groceries. Then we made lunch and took another van ride to Termas Geometricas, beautiful hot springs "nearby". They promised us a less than two hour ride, on the way there it took 3h, on the way back it took 2h and half. Yikes. A lot of sitting.

In the evening we only chilled at the hostel, ate the second part of our lunch, had a beer and went to sleep early :)

Sadly our plans for the next day crashed as entrance tickets to a nearby NP are sold out (and are sold out for the next 5 days). Something I wouldn't have imagined to be an issue, but we need to adapt and develop and plan better and sooner. Spontaneity is dead. Long live the plan. 🥲Read more
