Le Mont-Saint-Michel

Next stop in our trip was Le Mont Saint Michel. The abbey is built on a rock that’s connected to the main land with a bridge. It’s a UNESCO site and one of the most visited places in France.
We decided to go very early, parking at 8.30 to take the bus that takes you cross the bay so we could enter the abbey at 9am so we could avoid the visit with too many people.
We did well, as when we left the abbey the streets and the shops were already packed. We decided to walk back to the parking (2km) and we crossed so many tourists, in fact we were the only ones to go back!Läs mer
