In the evening we went to the port town of Portoazzurro.

We went to spiaggia di Sansone, 5km away from Portoferraio, after a morning run.
The beach was in a beautiful spot, surrounded by white cliffs.

The curse of the black cloud followed us… We tried to go to Spiaggia Paolina, int he north of the island, but the weather wasn’t very friendly, so we decided to go to another beach in the south Czytaj więcej

We ended up in this secret beach with hard access, under the old iron mines.
When we arrived there was only 2 other people there, it was so peaceful!

We went to a restaurant that was inside of the docks. We had to ring a bell to be let in the industrial area and the restaurant was at the end of the yard hidden between all the big boats being Czytaj więcej

We decided to go to the other side of the mountain to the east through a sinuous but beautiful road with amazing panoramic views of the island.

We returned to Ianmorata beach as we wanted to rent a canoe to go to the caves and the little islands, but when we arrived it was very windy and the sea was very rough, so we decided to stay in the Czytaj więcej

Yes, we love fish and we ate loads of it during our holiday in the island, but… we could not leave Tuscany without having a fiorentina!!
