Day 13 of AT in VA NOBO

Zero day in Lexington, VA

It ended up not raining! 😣 But after almost 50 difficult miles in the past 3 days, the off day was needed. I’m still looking to get my trail legs. I’m feeling stronger each day, but should hit my stride in another week or two.
Procured food for the pack from Walmart, hit the ATM (turns out shuttle drivers want to be paid 🙂), did laundry, watched basketball, and wrote up a bunch of journal entries!
P.S. As I was walking across the I-81 overpass on the way back to Motel 6, I saw the Blue Ridge Mountains in the distance. (See picture). They look so tame and docile from 10 miles away. Hmmmm. 🙂En savoir plus
