    Kopenhagen

    AIDAmar Reisetagebuch Tag 2 - Kopenhagen

    Nach einer ruhigen Nacht auf See (das Schiff lag unheimlich still im Wasser) erreichten wir heute früh Kopenhagen und legten an der Langelinie, nördlich der „Kleinen Meerjungfrau“ an.

    Aufgrund bisher mehrerer Besuche hier in Kopenhagen, einer davon erst im Sommer, entschlossen wir uns erst einmal auf dem Schiff zu bleiben. Erstaunlich wie leer das Schiff ab 11 Uhr dann ist. Fast ein Geisterschiff, wäre da nicht noch die Besatzung.
    Erstaunlich war aber dann doch, dass gegen 12:30 Uhr die Restaurants wieder total voll waren. Der Deutsche isst halt pünktlich zu Mittag 🤔

    Wir selbst sind dann ins neue Restaurant auf der Mar, dem Best Burger@Sea gegangen. Hier sind die Speisen im Reisepreis enthalten, Getränke müssen aber dazu bestellt und bezahlt werden. Pakete werden scheinbar nicht akzeptiert, nur die Genießerkarten oder direkte Abrechnung der Getränke übers Bordkonto. Die Auswahl dort besteht aus Burgern, Nuggets, Chicken Wings oder Desserts.

    Im Anschluss haben wir das Schiff dann doch noch kurz verlassen und sind auf der „Langelinie“ entlang gelaufen in Richtung Yachthafen. Auf dem Weg dorthin findet man kleine Souvenir- oder Textilshops, als auch verschiedene Skulpturen als Fotomotiv. Wer gerne die Stadt erkunden wollte, der konnte aber auch am Schiff in die dort abfahrende Hop On - Busse steigen.

    Um 19 Uhr geht es dann weiter in Richtung Aarhus.

    🇬🇧 AIDAmar Travel Diary Day 2 - Copenhagen

    After a quiet night at sea (the ship was incredibly calm in the water) we reached Copenhagen early this morning and landed at Langelinie, north of the "Little Mermaid".

    Due to several visits here in Copenhagen, one of them only in summer, we decided to stay on the ship. Amazing how empty the ship is from 11 o'clock then. Almost a ghost ship if it were not for the crew.
    Amazing was then but that at 12:30 clock the restaurants were completely full. The German just eats lunch punctually

    We then went to the new restaurant on the Mar, the Best Burger @ Sea. Here, the food is included in the travel price, but drinks must be ordered and paid. Packages are apparently not accepted, only the gourmet cards or direct billing of the drinks on board. The selection consists of burgers, nuggets, chicken wings or desserts.

    Afterwards we left the ship for a while and walked along the "Langelinie" towards the marina. On the way you will find small souvenir or textile shops, as well as various sculptures as a photo opportunity. Those who wanted to explore the city, but could also get on the ship in the there departing Hop On - buses.

    At 19 o'clock it goes further in the direction of Aarhus.

    Aarhus

    AIDAmar Reisetagebuch Tag 3 - Aarhus

    Nachdem der gestrige Abend mit Bingo in der AIDA Bar und Karaoke im Brauhaus versüßt wurde, legten wir heute früh dann in Aarhus an. Gemäß Kapitän Jörg Miklitza, der übrigens gestern erst das Ruder in Kopenhagen übernommen hatte, ist die AIDAmar heute erst zum zweiten Mal in Aarhus zu Gast.

    Die Liegezeit war heute nur bis 15 Uhr eingeplant, somit gingen wir nach dem Frühstück bei trockenem heiterem Wetter direkt von Bord. Der Kai für die Kreuzfahrtschiffe befindet sich relativ zentral an der Stadt, es sind nur wenige Gehminuten bis ins Stadtinnere. Wir sind dem Kanal gefolgt und dann in Richtung dem Einkaufszentrums „Salling“ gelaufen. Dort findet man auf dem Dach einen frei zugänglichen Skywalk, hoch über der Fußgängerzone. Außerdem hat das Gebäude noch eine eigene Dachterrasse, die bei schönem Wetter zum Verweilen und Genießen der Aussicht über Aarhus einlädt.

    Neben der Möglichkeit des Shoppens in der Fußgängerzone kann man aber auch dem Kanal weiter folgen und erreicht dann dort das ARoS, das Kunstmuseum von Aarhus. Auf dem Dach findet man einen farbenfrohen Rundum-Aussichtspunkt, den man allerdings nur in Verbindung mit dem Besuch im Museum erreicht.

    Wer die Zeit lieber ein wenig im Grünen verbringen möchte, der kann ganz in der Nähe des ARoS auch in den Botanischen Garten gehen. Hier findet sich gleich auch ein weiteres Museum, das DeGamle. Ein Museumsdorf mit vielen Ausstellungsstücken aus der nicht allzu fernen Vergangenheit. Das Museum selbst ist aufgebaut wie ein kleines Dorf.

    Unser Schiff hat dann pünktlich um 15 Uhr abgelegt, leider auch im Regen welcher gegen Mittag eingesetzt hatte. Doch dank der bei jedem Wetter trotzenden Auslaufmusik von AIDA war auch dieses Sailaway wieder ein beeindruckendes Erlebnis.

    Nächstes Ziel: Oslo... Wecker stellen fürs Einlaufen.

    🇬🇧 AIDAmar Travel Diary Day 3 - Aarhus

    After yesterday's evening was sweetened with bingo in the AIDA bar and karaoke in the brewery, we landed in Aarhus this morning. According to Captain Jörg Miklitza, who incidentally only took over the helm in Copenhagen yesterday, today AIDAmar is only in Aarhus for the second time.

    The laytime was scheduled today only until 15 o'clock, so we went directly after breakfast in dry, clear weather off board. The wharf for the cruise ships is located relatively central to the city, it is only a few minutes walk to the city center. We followed the canal and then walked towards the shopping center "Salling". There you will find a freely accessible Skywalk on the roof, high above the pedestrian zone. In addition, the building has its own roof terrace, which invites you to linger and enjoy the view over Aarhus in fine weather.

    In addition to the possibility of shopping in the pedestrian zone, one can also follow the canal and then reach the ARoS, the Art Museum of Aarhus. On the roof you will find a colorful panoramic viewpoint, which you can only reach in connection with the visit to the museum.

    If you prefer to spend some time in the countryside, you can also go to the Botanical Garden near the ARoS. Here you will find another museum, the DeGamle. A museum village with many exhibits from the not so distant past. The museum itself is built like a small village.

    Our ship has then punctually filed at 15 o'clock, unfortunately also in the rain which had started around noon. But thanks to AIDA's run-off music, which defied any weather, this Sailaway was again an impressive experience.

    Next destination: Oslo ... set the alarm clock for the arrival.

    Day 4

    Oslo

    AIDAmar Reisetagebuch Tag 4 - Oslo

    Nachdem wir heute früh mit dem Sonnenaufgang zusammen langsam durch den Oslofjord gefahren sind, legten wir schließlich pünktlich um 10 Uhr am Cruise Center Oslo, gegenüber der Festung an.

    Unser Ziel war heute dann der Holmenkollen mit seinen Wintersportanlagen. Zu Fuß sind wir zum Bahnhof Nationaltheatret gelaufen, ungefähr 15 Minuten vom Schiff entfernt. Hier sind wir dann in die U-Bahn Linie 1 gestiegen, das Ticket haben wir zuvor am Service Point unten am westlichen Eingang der Station erworben. Hin- und Rückfahrt für zwei Erwachsene und zwei Kinder insgesamt 14,40 Euro. Die Fahrt dauerte ca. 20 Minuten bis zur Station Holmenkollen. Von hier sind es noch einige Minuten zu Fuß den restlichen Berg hoch gelaufen und erreichten dann die Skisprunganlage. Hier kann man sich im Ski Museum mit einem Aufzug hoch auf die Schanze fahren lassen, Kosten für Museum und Aussichtsplattform für eine Familie mit zwei Kinder 42,- Euro. Gleich daneben befindet sich das Biathlon-Stadion und einige Wanderwege um die Aussicht auf Oslo genießen zu können.

    Mit der Linie 1 ging es dann zu unserem Ausgangspunkt Nationaltheatret zurück, wo sich auch gleich der Norwegische Palast befindet. Vom Palast aus kann man die Einkaufsstraße entlang laufen, vorbei am Hard Rock Café, schön dekorieren Straßen bis hin zur Oper von Oslo.

    Am Hafen entlang kommt man dann zurück zum Cruise Center von Oslo. Auf dem Weg dorthin lohnt noch ein Blick in die Festung gleich am Schiff mit der Möglichkeit schöne Motive vom Schiff zu machen.

    Nun geht es heute um 20:00 Uhr weiter, das nächste Ziel der Reise ist Kristiansand. Für den Abend hat die Besatzung neben Stefans Prime Time und der Show am Abend auch noch Glücksrad im AIDAshop und Mallorca Abend im Brauhaus angekündigt. Langweile kommt hier nicht auf.

    🇬🇧 AIDAmar Travel Diary Day 4 - Oslo

    After driving slowly through the Oslofjord together with the sunrise this morning, we finally landed punctually at 10 am at the Cruise Center Oslo, opposite the fortress.

    Our goal today was the Holmenkollen with its winter sports facilities. On foot we walked to the Nationaltheatret station, about 15 minutes from the ship. Here we went to the subway line 1, the ticket we have previously purchased at the service point down at the western entrance of the station. Round trip for two adults and two children total 14.40 euros. The ride took about 20 minutes to the station Holmenkolleb. From here it was still a few minutes walk up the rest of the mountain and then reached the ski jumping facility. Here you can ski in the Ski Museum with a lift up the hill, costs for museum and viewing platform for a family with two children 42, - Euro. Next door is the Biathlon Stadium and some hiking trails to enjoy the view of Oslo.

    With line 1 we went back to our starting point Nationaltheatret, where the Norwegian Palace is located. From the palace you can walk along the shopping street, past the Hard Rock Café, beautifully decorated streets and the Oslo Opera House.

    Along the harbor you come back to the Cruise Center of Oslo. On the way there is still a look in the fortress right at the ship with the possibility to make beautiful motives of the ship.

    Now it goes on today at 20:00 clock, the next destination of the trip is Kristiansand. For the evening, the crew announced next to Stefans Prime Time and the show in the evening also lucky wheel in the AIDAshop and Mallorca evening in the brewery. Boredom does not come here.

    Day 5

    Kristiansand

    AIDAmar Reisetagebuch Tag 5 - Kristiansand

    Wieder ein neuer Hafen, und wieder spielt das Wetter mit. Heute sind wir mit der AIDAmar in Kristiansand, Liegezeit bis 18:00 Uhr.

    Die norwegische Stadt mit ihren knapp 86.000 Einwohnern ist zu Fuß vom Schiff leicht zu erreichen. Am Hafen fuhr außerdem ein Mini-Zug, der für 15,- Euro pro Person eine Fahrt durch Kristiansand anbot.

    Wir sind aber zu Fuß los und waren nach kurzer Zeit bereits am Dom, in dem gerade eine Messe abgehalten wurde. Nett wurden wir herein gebeten und lauschten der uns leider nicht zu verstehenden Predigt als auch den Klängen des Kirchenchors.

    Im Anschluss folgten wir dem quadratförmig aufgebauten Straßennetz nach Norden zur Straße „Skippergata“, wo ein Haus neben dem anderen in weißem typisch norwegischen Stil angereiht wurde. Am Ende der Straße gelangt man zum Fluß „Otra“, dem wir wieder in Richtung Schiff folgten.

    Vorbei an schönen Segelschiffen, Yachten und einem größeren Neubaugebiet kamen wir zum „Bystranda“, dem Strand von Kristiansand. Zum Baden war es zwar etwas kühl, aber jeder weiß bestimmt wie schön auch ein Strand im
    Herbst oder Winter sein kann zum Spazieren. Okay, dieser hier ist recht klein aber dennoch war es schön.

    Kurz danach erreicht man die „Christianholm Festning“, eine alte Festung mit Ausblick über die Bucht von Kristiansand. Gleich im Anschluss folgt dann noch der „Nupen Fontenen“, ein Brunnen der wohl einer der berühmtesten in ganz Norwegen ist.

    Zurück durchs kleine Hafendorf „Gravane“ mit dem eigenen Fischmarkt von Kristiansand und dem Kauf des Kühlschrank-Magneten am Container-Souvenirstand sind wir dann auch wieder an Bord gegangen.

    Nun werden wir uns nachher noch das Auslaufen ansehen, bevor es morgen am Seetag weiter in Richtung Norden geht. Nächstes Ziel: Flåm

    🇬🇧 AIDAmar Travel Diary Day 5 - Kristiansand

    Another new harbor, and again the weather plays along. Today we are with the AIDAmar in Kristiansand, lying time until 18:00 clock.

    The Norwegian city with almost 86,000 inhabitants is within easy walking distance of the ship. At the port also drove a mini-train, which offered for 15, -EURO per person a trip through Kristiansand.

    But we left on foot and after a short time were already at the cathedral, where a mass was just held. We were kindly invited in and listened to the unpredictable sermon as well as the sounds of the church choir.

    Afterwards, we followed the square-shaped road network north to the street "Skippergata", where one house next to the other in white typical Norwegian style was strung. At the end of the road you come to the river "Otra", which we followed again in the direction of the ship.

    Past beautiful sailing ships, yachts and a larger development area we came to the "Bystranda", the beach of Kristiansand. For swimming it was a bit cool, but everyone knows how beautiful a beach in the Autumn or winter can be for a walk. Okay, this one is quite small but still it was nice.

    Shortly after you reach the "Christianholm Festning", an old fortress overlooking the bay of Kristiansand. Immediately afterwards follows the "Nupen Fontenen", a fountain which is probably one of the most famous in all of Norway.

    Back through the small harbor village "Gravane" with the own fish market of Kristiansand and the purchase of the fridge magnet at the container souvenir stand we went back on board.

    Now we will look at the phasing out before tomorrow we heading north on the sea day. Next destination: Flåm
