10. Day Shimonoseki -> Nagato 101km

Waking up on a ferry is. A strange feeling. First time sleeping properly on a ship. Entering Japan was really easy on a special visa. I can always skip the lines. A group of people desinfected the tyres of my bike and at customs I had a nice chat with the officials. On the way to the Motonosumi Shrine I stopped at Zero Cafe with an awesome ocean view. The owner gave me many recommendations of Yamaguchi prefecture and also many maps. Close to the Inari shrine I visited a viewing point of some rice terraces. The wind became so strong and I probably caught another cold but a real one this time. In the evening I got some bento and took a shower at a michi no eki for 300¥. I camped in a park close to the museum. First night in the new tent! Shinji, my former boss at Nomas Hostel gave me an almost unused Tent from a famous Japanese brand... For free!
