24. Day Honjohama -> Nishi Maizuru 67km

Got up early and was on the road around 7 am. The coastline of Ine is one of the most stunning roads I've taking. I even met my first monkeys on the road on the bike. Around 9 am I reached the beautiful little town of Ine. The small boathouses all lined up next to each other in the bay. All the cafes I wanted to go to where closed. Zanendane. I found one which was open where I could enjoy the view with a really nice cup. Just a few km south of Ine, I found a rundown house which was on sale. Amazing view! A lot of potential. I checked out the surroundings and was already dreaming big! Hostel + Café. Friends coming over. Yep. The dream!
After the nice park of Amanohashidate. Very scenic! In Miyazu I found a nice little cafe called Somewhere/cafe, where the owner was playing the drums and had a piano and a Bass. Wow. He offered a wide selection of coffee, even from Laos, Thailand and China. They weren't the best cups but surely interesting to try. After a nice chat I went off to find a place before the rain. Somewhere between fields, a dam, a river and train tracks I found a nice spot for the night.Läs mer
