Vangvieng - Surrounded by Jungle

There are Moments when I find that language is in vain. And maybe written words are the closest to explaining these emotions one once had. My reason why I try to put them down on paper.

Vangvieng brought lows and highs to this adventure. Im thankful for the friends and people I’ve made along the way. But sometimes one has to say goodbye to make room for new experiences. It just makes you think that our whole existence is one big adventure. People coming and going in and out in our lives.

Meeting people and leaving them. Maybe seeing them someday or having them just as a part of a memory. But saying goodbye isn’t always bad, a goodbye brings also closure to uncomfortable encounters. A goodbye is good for not wanted people in one’s life.

But all in all, Vangvieng is the place to meet people. To say hello to life. To be open and share stories. Have a drink and play some pool. Vangvieng is a place in middle out of nowhere, where people come together and celebrate another day of life.Læs mere
