Kyoto - Rural town

Kyoto is the authentic Japanese Town. I loved it personally. The food the people the city itself, everything in it, just mesmerised me. I tried one of the typical dishes that where served during the summer months: Tsukemen.

Tsukemen is enjoyed by dipping cold noodles into a separate bowl of hot, concentrated broth. Why not mix both together?

Eating tsukemen this way allows one to control the amount of broth on the noodles and intensifies the flavor experience. Don’t forget to slurp while to eat it! It is first of all a compliment to the chef + you enjoy the flavour much more than usual.

I just fell in love with Tsukemen. Maybe I had THE BEST, for my first one. Thus why very hard to beat in the future. But nevertheless it was one of the best dishes I had while in my stay in Japan.Read more
