Fell off the scooter and Glynis got a puncture in the front wheel of her bike. These things are meant to try us for sure.

ReisenderDo you find the scooter handy? I’m thinking of getting the me for my next trip. It’s too much bringing my heavy Ebike with 2 big dogs but thinking a holdup scooter could be a better option. Never ridden one before mind you 🤣
ReisenderWhoops! Yes they are good go for one with a decent motor maybe 800W that has a good range ours are supposed to be good for thirty miles but I doubt that. Glynis has a bad hip so they give us a bit more freedom to zip in and out of town

ReisenderHi Lavina. First up I don’t know why I was not following you anymore. I think wrong button pressing somewhere. Any how here at Tavira this is a smart safe site. It’s quite large with stone surface and flat. You don’t book just turn up and open all year. The free night offer only runs between April and end of September so I suspect they are fairly busy in the winter months. If you hunt down their website it gives a live update of available spaces. I use search for sites app to find most of my stopovers and if you look on that you will be able to see that this site gets good reviews. Tavira itself is about 25mins walk or ten minutes bike ride to the centre. This place is called The Algarve Motorhome Park Tavira. Google Will find that for you

ReisenderHi Sandra as of today (Sunday) the tyre is still in the tyre shop somewhere so not quite sorted yet. I fear a big hole in my wallet coming but hey I will soak up some more of this Spanish sunshine and drink the cold beer that they have here for a bit longer yet.
ReisenderHope it’s not too long. My starter motor went in Spain took about 3 days to get a new one.
