    Anglesea

    17 de junho de 2017, Austrália ⋅ 🌙 9 °C

Our first stop on our caravanning adventure, the Big4 park at Anglesea. I loved the swimming pool and jumping pillow. The play ground had great facilities including sand pit toys and the park has fantastic clean bathroom facilities and there is awesome wildlife.
I highly recommend this park for families.

  • London Bridge

    18 de junho de 2017, Austrália ⋅ ☀️ 14 °C

It's really fantastic to see and it's nice to imagine how it used to be like and how its changed over thousands of years.
The cliffs look like they were dripping with red paint from the erosions of the water.
It really is a great sight.

Big4 park has lots of animals to play with.... especially chickens!
It has a tennis, basketball, and mini golf court.
The play ground is fantastic fun.
Me and my family love this park.

  • Mount Gambier, Centenary Tower

    22 de junho de 2017, Austrália ⋅ ☁️ 9 °C

Wow, such a hike to get there, but it is worth it.
You can see everything from up on the mountain. You can see the whole of Blue Lake and the rim of the old volcano.
The tower is only open when the flag is flying but I bet that if you get to go up to the top there would be an even better view.Leia mais

  • Hahndorf

    24 de junho de 2017, Austrália ⋅ ⛅ 13 °C

Hahndorf is a small German-based village set in the Adelaide Hills. We stayed at the Big4 park. It had a jumping pillow, a big pond with lots of ducks, geese and pelicans from time to time. It also had a mini golf course and a small playground. My sister loved trying to catch the ducks and geese. Me and my family love this park and all agree that you should visit one day.Leia mais

This place really shows what jail was like in the 1840s.
You can see how badly prisoners were treated back then and you start to realise that prisoners are very spoilt nowadays.
    Wow, I'm thankful that I wasn't a prisoner back then.Leia mais

  • Adelaide Zoo

    26 de junho de 2017, Austrália ⋅ 🌙 10 °C

I love animals and I love to see animals that I have never seen before,
    Pandas,
    Hippos,
    Lions,
    Tigers,
    Meerkats
    and lots of others.
You can get really close to the animals but you can't touch them.
It's not the biggest of zoos but it has so much rare and cool animals that I've never seen before.

  • Port Pirie

    27 de junho de 2017, Austrália ⋅ ☀️ 15 °C

We stayed at a nice park near the beach. There was not much for kids to do but it has the beach, a playground and a skate park nearby. We loved riding our bikes here and watching the dolphins in the bay.
There are lots of fish at the beach to catch... and a big crab that got away!

  • Port Pirie, RSL

    28 de junho de 2017, Austrália ⋅ ⛅ 15 °C

    Small but interesting .
It has guns that were carried in war, big cannons and a huge helicopter.
My brother, sister and I all liked the helicopter best.
As well as being a war museum it is also a bar.

  • Coober Pedy

    4 de julho de 2017, Austrália ⋅ ☀️ 16 °C

We enjoyed the Big 4 parks' playground, tours, and its pizzeria.
Showers were nice but it costs 20c per 2 minutes so stock up on your 20c coins.
It also had the best wifi that we've had so far on this holiday.
We went to the public noodling area. We tried and tried and tried until we found this little piece of opal.
We didn't really know what to look for and there was pile after pile of mullock hills.
We went to a shop called "The Opal Bug". It's really cool having a painted car with long poles as legs, all put together is an opal bug.
There were lots of opal necklaces, rings, and souvenirs.
My sister bought a little opal necklace.

  • Coober Pedy, Old Timers' Mine

    6 de julho de 2017, Austrália ⋅ 🌬 18 °C

I love this place. We had a little show about a "blower", (a huge mining vacuum cleaner). I got to put some rocks into it and I got to put my arm into it. (My arm is still attached.)
There was a little shop with some souvenirs and opals. The shop lead into the mine.
The mine was really fascinating and fun. We saw lots of opal and there was lots of miners mining, (dummys)
There is also a little museum to go along with it.
At the very end there's an underground house. Best mine I've seen yet.
We also saw the first tree in Coober Pedy, (the only tree - it is welded out of metal)
The views are amazing from here - you can see the whole of Coober Pedy from the top.
