Rio de Janeiro - Pedra Bonita

This big stone platform with a height of 590m above sea level is located in the Tijuca National Park in Rio. The best way to reach it is by car or taxi. After arriving at the entrance of the national park we had to hike arround 45 minutes, which was quite exhausting because of the steep track in the forrest and the humidity. Finally arrived at the top, we first had to take a rest and enjoyed, while having a picnic, the mystical atmosphere. It was a bit sad that the clouds didn't go away so we couldn't see the beaches and sea. But it was still a really nice excursion with just a few other tourists.Lue lisää
