Cobar to Dubbo

Two sleeps to go.

We stopped in the town of Nyngan, in the Shire of Bogan, to see the Big Bogan structure. The Big Bogan is 5.96 metres tall and weighs approximately 1500 kg. It was built purely as a tourist attraction. Nyngan also boasts a restored Iroquois A2-022 that is now mounted on a pole in Vanges Park.

After settling in at Dubbo we spent time at the Western Plains Zoo visiting animals from around the world. A few of our favourites were the Meerkats, Rhinoceroses and the Bongo which is critically endangered with fewer than 100 left in the wild.En savoir plus
