Arrived in Maine near Acadia NP

Cadillac mountain is the highest maritime mountain (seaside) in North America! And...the first place you can see the sunrise in the USA!
Took a 2 1/2 hr guided trolley tour of Acadia national park and Bar Harbor area.
We found a free, fresh natural spring water source! A little bit of an adventurous drive to get back to it, but well worth it!

Visit to the Seal Cove auto museum. They feature cars from 1890's to 1920's, mostly manufactured in New England. One however is a French Puegeot, only one left in the world!
Back on Mount Desert island visiting Sand Beach. This is the only sand beach we've seen so far in Maine! Food pic is from Josies Country Store and Cafe. Great Ahi sandwich! So good we both got it!
Lobster pounds are all over this area, kind of like all the calabash restaurants around Myrtle Beach. So we finally went to one, mmmmmm whole lobster, steamed clams and an ear of corn....mmmmm.
