Arrived at Trieste, Italy this morning and did a bus tour into Slovenia….to a small village called Piran..beautiful and then onto a farmers market for food tastings.

Raining this morning luckily easing off as time went on. A bus trip to Olympia to see the ruins of the original Olympic Games. Walked all around with a guide and a 3D tablet.

Back to Athens today where Peter and I did a tour (bus and funicular) up to Lycabettus Hill with 360 degree views.

Wandered around the town which is not very large and consists only of restaurants and tourist souvenir shops. Pete went to the museum with Phil and Peter while us girls wandered the shops.

In to shore by tender to do a tour to Lekuresi Castle and a Mesopotamian Monastery. The guide gave a good description of life under communism, a rather grim existence.
