Had orientation today so we were shown where we will be volunteering, the conditions which the children live in, and all around Cape Town x
First official day

I had my first official day and was helping out with the 6 year olds in class.
Once on lunch/break all the children mix and there’s around 4/5 people to look after over 90 children.

I’ve had a very busy but painful weekend😩 we went quad biking and I ended up falling off… to make things better the quad bike landed on me and BROKE which has left my ribs very sore… IWeiterlesen

There is a fire in one of the mountains today that they’re still trying to get control of… A few roads have been closed and the helicopters have been getting water from the sea to try put it out
