Ho passato l’ultima settimana a Chiang Mai, uno dei miei posti preferiti in Thailandia.
Sono tornata all’ostello di George ed essendo bassa stagione non c’erano praticamente ospiti e ho avuto l’ostello quasi tutto per me.

A Chiang Mai mi sono goduta le good vibes del luogo, ho fatto un po’ di sport, acquistato le bellissime ceramiche al night market del sabato e mi sono incontrata con Kristie e Thomas, i quali avevo conosciuto sulla crociera da Flores a Lombok!

Inoltre ho finalmente visitato il Wat Pha Lat, un tempio immerso nella natura raggiungibile percorrendo un trail molto facile su una montagna. È forse uno dei templi più belli che ho visto, aveva delle vibes bellissime.

Dal 26 al 29 maggio ho sono andata ad un’ora da Chiang Mai e ho seguito un yoga retreat per un paio di giorni. È stata una bellissima esperienza, con due sessioni di yoga giornaliere, tantissimo e soprattutto delizioso cibo vegano, e tanta bella gente! Suan Sati (è cosi che si chiama il posto) è veramente un piccolo paradiso, con i propri campi di riso e una natura bellissima.
Peccato che sia stata cosi poco, ma purtroppo al 29.5 chiudevano per un qualche giorno prima di riaprire per un corso istruttori di Yoga.
Penso che ci tornerò un giorno al Suan Sati ❤️

L’ultimo giorno prima di partire per Bangkok mi sono finalmente convinta di farmi fare due piercing alle orecchie, che era da un po’ che desideravo, e sono stata molto contenta, anche grazie alla piercer Lisa che mi ha rassicurata molto e ha fatto un lavoro perfetto.

Chiang Mai è forse uno dei miei posti preferiti, non escludo di tornarci per una terza o quarta volta in futuro! Sono super contenta di aver passato qui una delle mie ultime tappe del mio viaggio.

I spent the last week in Chiang Mai, one of my favorite places in Thailand.
I went back to George's hostel and being low season there were practically no guests and I had the hostel almost everything to myself.

In Chiang Mai I enjoyed the good vibes of the place, I did some sport, bought the beautiful ceramics at the night market on Saturday and I met with Kristie and Thomas, whom I had met on the cruise from Flores to Lombok!

Furthermore, I finally visited Wat Pha Lat, a temple surrounded by nature that can be reached by following a very easy trail up a mountain. It is perhaps one of the most beautiful temples I have seen, it had beautiful vibes.

From 26 to 29 May I went to a place one hour away from Chiang Mai and joined a yoga retreat for a couple of days. It was a wonderful experience, with two daily yoga sessions, a lot and above all delicious vegan food, and lots of beautiful people! Suan Sati (this is what the place is called) is truly a small paradise, with its own rice fields and a beautiful nature. Too bad it was so little, but unfortunately at 29.5 they closed for a few days before reopening for a yoga instructor course. I think I'll be back one day at the Suan Sati ❤️

The last day before leaving for Bangkok I finally convinced myself to have two ear piercings done, and I was very happy, also thanks to the piercer Lisa who reassured me a lot and did a perfect job.

Chiang Mai is perhaps one of my favorite places, I do not rule out returning for a third or fourth time in the future! I am super happy to have spent here one of my last stops of my journeyOkumaya devam et
