After a delicious dinner of salmon, vegetables & potatoes the crew paraded around the dining hall with sparklers, we all sang the Star Spangled Banner & then had a yummy dessert

Wow, they could use a cleaning. Our first time in France and in Paris in 1985, they were cleaning the exterior of Notre Dame. We were back in 1989 and the job looked completed.

Too many items to focus on so I will just write that Chris is holding up on the journey. You have both seen many sights on this cruise. That's what make river boat trips so special.

Reminds me of where our first river boat trip started. Leaned that Viking owns all the docks. When we first board our boat it was the only one docked. We came back from a tour and another boat was at the dock. A Viking boat. We had to enter it, walk upstairs and cross over to our boat. That's when I found out about the ownership getting dockside priority.

I've seen this bust before. His real name was Douwes Dekker. The name, Multatuli, was his pen name. He was employed by the government in several different capacities and in many countries away from his homeland. Look him up. I did when I saw this before.
