Amsterdam has over 100 kilometers of canals, about 90 islands and 1,500 bridges. The three main canals (Herengracht, Prinsengracht and Keizersgracht), were dug in the 17th century during the Dutch Golden Age. They form concentric belts around the city, known as the Grachtengordel. Along the main canals are over 1,500 monumental buildings. The 17th-century canal ring is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and contributes to Amsterdam's reputation as the "Venice of the North".

We stayed here for four nights, although only two were scheduled. The delay of the transport ship by two more days made us extend our stay.

Apart from a minor scratch and tiny damage to the windshield, this wonderful car suffered no other damage. I did not expect such a positive outcome at the beginning of the trip.
Florin PaunYes, it is Romanian. Indeed, it is a language of Latin origin. It is very similar to Italian, Spanish and Portuguese. That is why it is easy for me to learn Spanish. In Buenos Aires I learned to count to 10 and conjugate basic verbs. By the end of the trip, in Mexico, I could already speak enough to successfully confront two corrupt and suspicious people.
旅行者Well done! I learned 1,5 years of Latin languages at school. That helped me a lot to learn Spanish in Antigua de Guatemala. After one month learning Spanish with a private teacher, 4-5 hours a day, I could speak well with people. And after Guatemala I spoke more than one year only Spanish.

The CN Tower is a communications and observation tower with a height of 553 m. Completed in 1976, it is located in downtown Toronto, built on former railway land. The CN Tower held the record for the tallest free-standing structure in the world from 1975 until 2007, when it was surpassed by the Burj Khalifa. It is currently the tenth tallest free-standing structure in the world.
