Day 45 Ludington to Muskegon

83.4 Miles, 2549 feet. After an overnight rain, we left this morning with rain gear on prepared for a downpour. Fortunately all we experienced was some light Michigan mist. Several other groups of riders did get rained on. After some turns and hill climbs out of Ludington, we turned onto USBR 35 (US Bicycle Route)

Much of today's route was part of the Michigan West Shoreline route. We rode through some beautiful areas near the lakes. The houses big and small were lovely as were the small towns. It was a long day and we have another one tomorrowWeiterlesen
