I had read that a lot of places in Thailand where you can see elephants don't treat the animals very well in order to make them do tricks for tourists, so I wanted to do my research on where to go. Elephant Nature Park came highly recommended and with different animal welfare groups giving their stamps of approval. The elephants were mostly rescued from abusive practices elsewhere or taken in to provide care.
I wasn't able to interact with them but we were able to get very close, as you can tell in some of the shots here!Leggi altro
