Glasgow

Walk to Glasgow's Queen Street station for the 10.10 train to Dundee. Beautiful sunny day - Dundee is apparently the sunniest place in Scotland. Just a hop and a skip away is V&A Dundee a huge shiplike structure on the Firth of Tay. Once in we head straight for the Tartan exhibition. Never been keen on tartan but it is interesting to see the mechanics behind it as it were.

We step outside to look at the rather spectacular view before heading to the cafe for a rather uninspiring lunch. Ready to look at the rest of the museum we find that there is just one room plus the Mackintosh Oak tea room. Very disappointing. The building looks huge but essentially has very little in it.
