Day 12 Azofra to Granon

We got a good start this morning. Found a nice little park to "lounge" in just before Ciruena. Then we headed to Santo Domingo de la Calzada. We had a delicious lunch...we shared some Calamari, Kim had a lovely goat cheese salad. Julie had salad with tuna, and I had a red pepper rellano stuffed shrimp and monkfish. We visited the church of St. John the Baptist and learned about the legend of the miraculous chicken and why the church is affectionately called the " Chicken church" and live chickens are kept there. We stayed in Granon at Albergue Carresquedo.Leggi altro
