However, my wife lost an 18-year battle with breast cancer. She will travel by my side.

    Paris

    May 2–3 in France ⋅ ☁️ 4 °C

Staying overnight in CDG and heading to St Jean. I will be sharing this pilgrimage with Lynda in heart and soul and will place her where it feels "right", whatever that is.

Decided to just relax and hang at the airport in France, got a room there. Get up early the next morning and head to St Jean... will see what actually transpires. You wanna hear God laugh?

    Tell him your plans.

Began more training with pack. 5 miles to start with will start walking to work which will give me 7 miles a day. The Camino average is 15 miles a day. and the first day is an elevation climb of 4000 feet.

I also have been spending time on a website called caminosantiago where I am learning and absorbing more and more about this trip. and in that I found what I think will be perfect for Lynda and I... There is a place called the Cruz de Farro, (Iron Cross) where you are to leave a stone to be the symbol of your burdens you carry, and leave them there.

I intend to leave some grief and loss there, and then I want to do one more thing. I had a starfish made from Lynda's ashes, where the ashes are imbued into the starfish. I will be taking her with me to Muxia, called "the end of the world" in medival times.

Legends and spirituality embue in this place, and it is where I will return my love to the sea, in hopes that someday I will catch up with her and do this thing called "life" again. for those of you who dont know the story, i will include it here. It was a big deal to Lynda, to make a difference. and honey? you made a difference to me.
