Our hotel backed up to a large soccer stadium.
ПутешественникThe room in Siena was small and the Wi-Fi didn’t work. 🥲 Fortunately our stay in Siena was only for one night. All the other places we are staying are for at least 2 nights!

The highest point in Siena contained the main cathedral and duomo.

Twice a year there is a crazy horse race run three times around this plaza to see which neighborhood (represented by a horse) will win the competition.

Train to Montepulciano

Montepulciano is one hour by train from Siena. It is high up on a hill with beautiful views of the surrounding Tuscan countryside. We will be here for two nights.
Walking from Pienza to Montepulciano

ПутешественникYes. We were the only ones walking from Pienza to Montepulciano. We saw 4 other people on the trail all day. Two of them started at another town. And two were doing our hike backwards.

The rain stopped and we finished up our hike, arriving at Montepulciano at 2:15 pm.
