On the bus ride from Fort William to Inverness we drove along Loch Ness for 20 miles (on the upper level of a double decker bus). SUPER touristy at Fort Augustus, the southern point of Loch Ness.

After a beautiful 2-hour bus ride we arrived in Inverness at our guest house by 3 pm. We will be here for 3 nights. We walked over 5.6 miles around Inverness this afternoon. We found gelato!!

PodróżnikApparently the gorse is only in bloom for 4-6 weeks in the spring, so we hit it just right. We have enjoyed seeing colorful gorse every day on this trip.
