Up and ready for a Tuesday

A steep climb up Conic Hill

Tuesday we hiked 15 miles. Climbing Conic Hill above Loch Lomond was challenging.
Wednesday: not a cloud in the sky!

We have 12 miles to go along Loch Lomond today. Then we will catch a ferry to sleep at the Ardlui Hotel in North Loch Lomond.
From Rowardennen to Ardlui: 14 miles

Today was easier with less elevation change but still lots of ups and downs and mud puddles, with no rain at all.
Inverarnen to Tyndrum

We hiked 15 miles today.

We hiked from Ardlui to Tyndrum today. Our longest mileage and it seemed like our easiest day. Cloudy to start and gradually blue sky by afternoon. A fun Thursday!

After a short 3 hours of hiking…

Only 7 miles today. Now we’ll have a restful afternoon at the Bridge of Orchy Hotel.
Saturday: ready for a good hike

Today we hike from Bridge of Orchy (pictured above, built in 1700s) to Kinghouse. 12 miles and lots of elevation gain. Rain is expected, hopefully light.

Great 12 mile hike today. We made it here in 5 1/2 hours. No rain!! Just overcast. Feeling good!
A bit foggy this Sunday morning

Our last day was wet, rainy, soggy, overcast, and 16 miles long, from Kinlochleven to Fort Williams. We had fun with photos at the official end of the West Highland Way!
