Up at 6 am for breakfast. Today we plan to take a taxi for 30 minutes to Milngavie. From there we will walk 12.5 miles to Drymen.

ПутешественникThe ferry was just a small boat that carried 8 people. It took 10 minutes to cross the Loch (lake). This morning, the earliest ferry back across to our trail was supposed to leave at 9, but the guy was 30 minutes late… Oh, well.

We hiked from Ardlui to Tyndrum today. Our longest mileage and it seemed like our easiest day. Cloudy to start and gradually blue sky by afternoon. A fun Thursday!

ПутешественникGreat meals so far. Breakfast is usually cereal and toast. Lunch is a cookie and a Lara bar along the trail. Dinner for me has been a cheeseburger and fries for me, but last night I had lasagne. The last two nights we had desert: cake and ice cream. We are walking off the calories, that’s for sure!
