Today we had a tour of kangaroo island. At the end of the tour we paid for cuddling Koalas. I cuddled a koala that weighed at least 10 kg. It had a baby koala on his back.

Just boarded the ferry to Kangaroo Island. Frighteningly early start from Adelaide but thankfully the sea doesn't look too choppy.

Today we saw some postboxes that looked very silly😝.There was a fridge'a milk can'a microwave and a squashed can.They are all used as postboxes!

One really noticeable thing about Australia is that everywhere - and I mean everywhere - has a public WC. You can almost rely on it. Country parking spots in the middle of nowhere - tick. RoadsideWeiterlesen

Apparently a bush fire pretty much destroys the forest around here every few years and then it bounces back. Given the state of the charred stumps it's a miracle anything survives the fire.
