    Today we braved the cold and icy wind to do a walking tour of old town. The Rune stone was carved in the 11th century . The cannon supposedly protects the house. Then onto lunch to warm up.
    The afternoon was spent at the Royal Palace which is huge and very regal. We arrived just in time for changing of the guards. Originally, it was built out of timber and stone in the 1200 but burnt down in 1697. It was rebuilt over 57 years.
    Needed to warm up again, so we had fika.
    It's the traditional practice of coffee and cake ...who am I to argue.
