Traveler Santiago Matamoros in all his glory still seems to be a popular theme - I cynically wonder if that's not one way to make a political statement without much risk of censure.
Laurie Reynolds He’s gone from the cathedral. Last time I was there they had the base surrounded by flowers so that the moros being killed were not visible. But now the statue is gone.
