Vigeland museum

The city of Oslo liked this guy so much that they gave him 1) a huge apartment/workshop and 2) a huge park to put his sculptures that they let him design, under the 1 condition that he donate all his sculptures when he died and that his apartment/workshop would become a museum. Also he was good enough (or lucky enough) that he made the park while under nazi occupation with no impacts, somehow.Read more
