So pleased to have that leg under our belt.

Arriving in Picton to rain then parked next to spring creek at the camp.

Feels like we are really on our way.
Too wet for vineyards today.

Heading to Nelson to see how Alan is getting on with getting his Solar looked at then hopefully heading to Murchison.

Out to the Oparara caves for a walk then out to the end of the road to the DOC Camp and start of the Heaphy Track

Back to Westport to get tyre for Alan n Robin’s camper. And on to Murchison.
Then make a plan for the nxt leg.
Murchison to Motueka

Arrived early to Motueka so went for a quick bike ride round the inlet walkway. Then Took Suzuki and checked out the ride from Motueka to Mapua.

Took Jimmy to Mapua ferry to go across to Rabbit Island for bike ride.

Did the Torrent Bay to Bark Bay leg of the Able Tasman great walk today. Home by water Taxi 3.30. Via an island to see baby seals.
Over the Takaka Hill to Pohara

Decided to head out to Pohara Beach on Al n Robin’ recommendation. What a beautiful spot. NZMCA camp right by the water near a Marina. Pete’s in heaven.

Called into the Labyrinth Rocks just before Takaka then on to Collingwood. Stopping at Te Waikoropupu Springs for a cuppa.

Stayed in Collingwood camp ground for the night then headed off in the morning.
Back through Takaka town. Great shopping.
