Camino de Santiago - the last 100+ KM

Returning to Camino Frances to walk the last 100+ KM with 3 of my friends (it is their 1st).
Starting in Sarria and will continue onto Camino Finisterre after 2 days in Santiago de Compostela.

This little hotel has an absolutely stunning garden as evident in Marina's photos.
"Wilson", who first accompanied me on my Camino Frances decided to show up again and has no relationship with Mr.Wilson.
The Humble Pilgrims' repast consists of

ViajanteThese are very good. Only 2 (Barbadelo and San Xulian) are where I stayed in 22. Going forward the same for next 2 (Arzua and O Pedrouso).

ViajanteOH quite possible. if you take a closer look - it is a cemetery beyond that wall (most small villages are like that - a small church or chapel is inside the cemetery)

ViajanteThere's lots of information about that mural on Google. Apparently there are seven of these huge photorealistic murals -- the worlds largest outdoor gallery. And each mural is of a real person whose hospitality has supported the Camino. Wow!

A dinner that wasn't

So I had dinner here during my 2022 Camino and it was very good, so why not repeat it, right?!

Well it's now a Beer Garden (as evident) and everything is motorized.
After being told that we can sit anywhere and sitting there for a good clip of time, we were somewhat rudely told "to go to machine" to place an order and then observed one of them "robot carts" delivering food to the other folk we just decided to leave 😞🥲Leia mais
