An unforgettable Journey

Wonderful day in Edinburgh. We went down to Greyfriars Kirkyard to visit some of the old tombstones from which J.K. Rowling got her inspiration for Harry Potter. We then headed to the “Deacon Brodies Tavern” for a pint while waiting for our walking tour to the Edinburgh Vaults which was meant to start at 1.30 pm. We arrived 1 minute late and had to find out that the group had already left. So we went back into the pub for another beer waiting for the next tour at 2pm. Luckily we didn’t miss that one and got to see the city under the city which was incredibly spooky. We then had some incredibly delicious coffee at “Mary’s Cafe bistro”. We then met Deb’s friend Emily and headed up Calton Hill together for an incredible 360 degree view of the city. We had a couple of Neck Oils at St. James Quarter before having dinner at “The Real Greek”. Last but not least: Macallan Whisky tasting at the Balmoral. 🥃Baca selengkapnya
