    Heading to the airport for the 5th straight week. But this trip is a little business and a little vacation. After working a couple days at a show, I'm going to Disneyland! Kat flies out Wednesday and we'll spend 3 days in the West Coast House of Mouse.Read more

    Yay! We arrived early and... just wandered around before riding rides. Went back to Galaxy's Edge first and then came back to New Orleans Square for Pirates and lunch at Blue Bayou. Then just kinda wandered some more for rides and looking around. It was a little confusing because everything wasn't in the same place.Read more

    The park was fairly empty upon entering. Started the day at Galaxy's Edge. Lots of walking. It was so strange to recognize somethings, but in the wrong spot. Both familiar and new at the same time.

    Saw all sorts of characters just roaming free. Chewy, Ray, Aladdin, Genie, Donald, Daisy, Belle, Evil Queen, Alice, and the Mad Hatter... I saw the Red Head from Pirates while we were eating at Blue Bayou! On the lookout for more tomorrow.Read more

    California Adventures

    We rode Radiator Springs Racers. Similar to Test Track, but you find yourself side by side racing with another car. Very fun.

    Rode Guardians of the Galaxy Mission Breakout. I thought it was going to be just a different themed Tower of Terror, but it wasn't. They changed the ride up. It was fun, but I hate that type of ride. It felt even more random. Great music. I do wonder if the song changes like in Cosmic Rewind.

    WEB Slingers was a lot of fun. Kind of like Toy Story Mania, but it uses motion sensors on your arms. Such an arm workout. I almost beat Tony. Maybe next time.

    Monster's Inc, Mike and Sulley to the Rescue is cute ride, especially for the smaller kids.

    And of course, Soaring. The video is different than Florida.

    Opened California Adventure today and went straight to Cars Land before wandering back to the Avengers Campus via San Fransokyo. Visited our friend Patrick and then headed to the other park to ride Jungle Cruise and Indy (and Pirates, again). Finished the day seeing Cali Adventure at night and then World of Color.Read more

    It was Marvel Mania for character hunting today. Spiderman, Antman and the Wasp, Black Panther, Moongirl, Daisy, Mickey, Minnie, Dr. strange, Loki, Black Widow, and McQueen!

    McQueen actually drives around Radiator Spry! So cool.Read more

    Park Hopping is so Easy

    Headed over to Disneyland for a couple of rides and more Characters.

    We rode Jungle Cruise. The Disneyland doesn't have a tunnel, and the queue is two stories tall. Prefer the one at WDW.

    Rushed from the Cruise, next door to Indiana Jones. This one of the few rides here where the indoor queue area is longer than the outdoor. Waited an extra 15 minutes because shut down. Same style ride as Dinosaur in Animal Kingdom. Not a good ride if you need to use the restroom.... Barbara should not ride this one as she has similar aversions as Indy...

    Ran into the Redhead!

    Pirates again. It is a longer ride than at Disney World. I like this one better.

    Rode Alice in Wonderland. Cute. Good for the small ones, but a bit of a rough ride.

    Going to head across the Plaza be back to California Adventure for fun, food, and World of Color water show.    Read more

    Spent the afternoon across the way, finishing off the Food & Wine Festival and then back to Disneyland for the night. Due to the tiny castle (so tiny), they project onto the Main Street buildings and the Matterhorn for the nightly show.Read more

    Last Magical Day

    Today we finished off the remaining rides at Disneyland that we wanted. The Matterhorn is a rough ride, but fun.

    Disneyland Space Mountain is better than Magic Kingdom. The ride is smoother.

    Finding NEMO in the revamped Nautilus was a fun ride. I liked it better than the clam shells at Epcot.

    We started at California Adventure on Tuesday. We started with Soaring, then Radiator Springs Racers. Was on the quest for more characters.

    Antman & Wasp, Ms. Marvel, Lightning, Claribelle, Pluto, Alice, Aurora, Captain Jack Sparrow, Loki, Black Panther, Captain America, Minnie, Mickey, and Goofy.

    We rode Haunted Mansion, and the WDW version is better.    Read more
