Dieppe overnight

Great stop in the aire at the port, one of two huge full facility places here. We arrived late, about 10pm, so finding them on the doorstep was a bonus. Already we are appreciating being back in Europe where as a Moho we aren't second class citizens and they know how to cope with us. Good parking just on the edge of town makes us happy and keeps us out of the narrow streets of the old town.
Dieppe has the same chalk cliffs as the south coast of the UK and is a small but tidy working port with a lovely area for sailing boats to. We didn't have time to stop but have promised ourselves we will next time.
In our way to a friend's near Paris now. Oh other additional bonus, we have been driving for about an hour now and haven't seen a pothole yet!!Read more
