Voidokoilia Bay

We decided to stop off in a small bay about 2 hours before we got to Pylos and what a beautiful location it was. The intention was to stay two nights but the weather had over ideas, and we only managed one, but worth it.

We were the only boat in there, one did come and have a look but as it is very shallow and we had prime position, they buggered off. Having a cat has its advantages some times.

So a small horsehoe shaped bay, reminded me of Man o'War beach in Dorset. There was a fairy tale castle on the hill and crystal clear water. It has to be noted that Gary was the first in the water this year.... in a wetsuit and only because we needed to check the anchor.

We sat on the net watching the sun go down on our own except for one man sitting on the beach. StunningWeiterlesen
