Petalidi & Messini

What a brilliant place to visit, only small but so pretty and friendly. Not only did we enjoy tavernas with small simple and very good food, great beach bar and shopping, but also swapped our mode of transport to a Fiat Panda. Can't say it was a great chariot but it did facilitate a visit to Messini and a walk to waterfalls.
Nick as always was our taxi driver and all four plus Ziggy and off we went to Messini. It was amazing, huge and very well restored. The size of it and how they used the location of the side of the hill to create the city was an incredible achievement. We all agreed it surpassed Olympia by far.
After our picnic we headed off for a walk to a waterfall where Nick took a swim and I was jealous I hadn't brought by costume.
