Franz Josef Glacier

I remember the glacier being so much further down the valley. The change from when I was a child 50 years ago and then when I saw it again 30 and 10 years ago is staggering. Pleased to come here again but sad to see the retreat. The town is shut down and people are struggling with no foreign tourists. Saw two major hotels pretty much boarded up.もっと詳しく
