Manawatu Gorge

Did the Tawa Loop walk rather than the whole 12km one way mission - amazed at how many people were on the track. What was even more amazing was that we stopped at the White Horse Rapids lookout and saw so many people on the Gorge road below! People on bikes, people walking dogs - a busy place.
When we got out we talked to some people about it and this guy strolls towards us along the road and steps through a massive hole in the fence. We went in for a look too. The big slip in the photos we walked over is the worst apparently, and at the Woodville end you can just ride through the fence there's such a big gap.
