Guinness Storehouse Tour

This is on the list for NOT to do again. Too bright, too hot, too loud, too many people, too confusing. Our guide (not Peter) would wander off in front and it was hard to catch up. Then we had a 40 minute wait before dinner when we were “set free” to explore. I’m currently hiding in a corner.

There were some interesting things. Seeing the range of ingredients used was interesting. So was seeing how advertising changed over time - some things you just can’t (and wouldn’t) do now.

As it turns out, problems continued with dinner. While they were meant to cater for two tour groups, they ran out of food and another gentleman and I had to wait, and wait…. Most of the others had finished dessert before I got my meal! This is just the final blow in a not so good day. At least the Book of Kells was fantastic!もっと詳しく
