Florida 2024

We put 2 adventures into one trip. Rode the "Springs to Springs" trail from Lake Bereford on the scenic paved bike trail to Blue Springs SP (state park), Walked the boardwalk and looked for manatees. ate our packed lunch, and rode back to the park.
Nice campground. Spring to Spring bike trail is about 21 miles long. The boardwalk is nice at Blue Springs, and there were almost a thousand of them there the day before we visited. The house museum was interesting. And at Juniper Springs CG, there were a few people swimming in the spring and a scenic mill bought by the CCC. The CCC did a lot of great things for the people. I sometimes wonder if something like this could be done now in these difficult times.En savoir plus
