The first evening in Zagreb we tried a local restaurant which had delicious food!! Meat heavy but no complaints there from me :). The following day we did some sight seeing with the city history museum, chocolate museum which was delightfully fun, and the botanical garden. The next day we rented a car and drove to Rijenka by the coast to see the sea side and dip in the cold waters!! (The speed limit on the highway was 130km/h!!!) The walk along the coast was very nice. The last day we discovered another part of town through old WW2 tunnels that led to a restaurant and bar area. Definitely more touristic but quite fun and charming!!Okumaya devam et

In the evening, i met up with a friend and had a blast at the Spring fest by joining up with some germans haha. The next day however wasn’t as fun… beer hits different here i think. My last day there i went with a friend to the Nymphenburg castle which was very nice but the gardens made it worth it. And finally in the evening for dinner I finally tried a beer garden with friends from the hostel :) i didnt drink tho.Okumaya devam et

Its a really lively city with quite a bit to do and fun to just walk around and visit the parks!! Letna park was my favourite and i had a great time watching the sunset over the city. The next day i visited the castle and the cathedral; also an alchemist museum and then ended the afternoon in a park reading my book. I did meet some fun people in the evening though and we grabbed a few drinks haha!Okumaya devam et

  • Berlin pt. 1

    3–5 May, Almanya ⋅ ☁️ 17 °C

My first night in berlin, i met a very cool person in my hostel dorm and we spent the next day walking around central berlin, casually visiting all the sights from afar and wandered into this very cute street market which was interesting to see (Berlin and its reputation). The following day i met up with Natalie and we visited the holocaust memorial, Charlie’s checkpoint, the Jewish museum which was very well done and the berlin wall. The wall itself is a little underwhelming but its history was put up next to it so it was worth it. Europeans really do take care of their parks 🥰Okumaya devam et

  • Cap de Blanc-nez

    12 Mayıs, Fransa ⋅ ⛅ 15 °C

We took a car to drive to Wissant in france, just across the border to go see the white cliffs of the coast. We also tried to see the white cliffs of dover in England across the channel but only got a peak in the afternoon. We started at Cap de Gris-nez and visited the area and its bunkers. We also trespassed into a bigger one a little further away which was insanely cool to visit. For lunch we stopped at La Brasserie Charlemagne to est moules et frites 😂. It was delicious and cheap :) we then walked along the beach at Cap de Blanc-nez next to the beautiful white cliffs and did a loop back on top which gave wonderful views (12km loop). The day was perfect as we got chased away with storm clouds haha!Okumaya devam et
