Phi Phi Island

Picked up early this morning by mini bus and headed off to Royal Phuket Marina . A one hour speed boat ride out to Bamboo Island for our first snorkill. Beautiful little island with white sandy beach and lovely clear water perfect for snorkelling. Lots of colourful small fish . Next stop a snorkill straight off the boat in a bay off Phi Phi. Lots of sea life again including moray eels ,sea urchins, large clams and even a sea snake . Lunch was at the Holiday Inn on the island . What a view!! We then headed off to Monkey Beach to get up close and personal with the Mangrove monkeys. Next stop Phi Phi Leh and a swim in the lagoon . We all jumped off the front of the boat and it was lots of fun . Our last visit of the day was Maya Bay which was where the movie The Beach was filmed. Spectacular place .Read more
