Bobo Breakfast

One of advantage of visiting this time of the year is that it is not the rainy season however it means hot dry and dusty streets.
An abandoned village where some "Voodoo" ceremonies are still occasionally performed on "Altars" made of stone like this one.
Still used today for animal sacrifices.
Tons of feathers are still evident from recent usage.
From a short hike around the village.
There is still remnants of life in the form of farming and surprisingly some new construction going on nearby.
Leaving Koro we offer a local a ride back towards Bobo and thankfully she was gracious enough to let me take her picture. Very Coolio.
I believe this is a monument to celebrate the 50th year of Independence for Burkina Faso.
Nice pool but enjoy it in the middle of the day. Once the sun goes down the mosquitoes come out and own it. Good area to sit and enjoy a meal although the restaurants around the hotel IMHO are aRead more
