An expensive outing $100 for 45m boat ride. Original plan was to do hiking but heavy rain overnight made trails impossible and almost broke the bank.. 🙄

Boat motor and gasoline is locked up in storage until need.. Then wheel barreled to locked boat as needed.

We spot a lot of Hippo's mostly along the river's edge. However, they rapidly disappear at the sound of us approaching.

One spot where Ruisizi River meets Lake Tanganyika which serves as natural border with DRC and Tanzania. Lake Tanganyika is also the world's longest freshwater lake.
