Samarkand Bus Station

The journey begins here in a minibus to Tajikstan border. About an hour long ride for about a $1.
Uzbekistan and Tajikstan Border

A very easy and friendly border crossing. Both Uzbekistan and Tajikstan officials were very accommodating. Tajikstan officials even called me to the front of the line.
The Taxi Ride

A $4 (Tourist Price) fare from the border into town. A slow 40kph most of the way because of local speed traps along the highway.
Park Rudaki

Local amusement park and bazaar next door.
