Xochimilco River 🎉

Heute haben wir Gonzo getroffen, einen mexikanischen Freund von Anna, den sie in Belgien kennengelernt hat.
Er hat uns gleich mitgenommen auf ein (Party-)Boot durch den Xochimilco River mit Freunden von ihm. Dort gibts ganz viele Legenden und Geschichten zu jeder Insel.
Wir hatten super viel Spaß und die Mexikaner zeigten uns, wie man ordentlich feiert. Mit viel Tequilla (aber ohne Zitrone und Salz. 🥳
Danach gings zum Abendessen und dann weiter zu einer Hausparty zu Whitexicans (Bezeichnung für weiße reiche Mexikaner*innen). Anna fuhr uns sicher durch ganz CDMX. Wir haben alle zusammen bei Lucas übernachtet. Es war ein extrem lustiger Tag und wir erlebten die volle mexikanische Experience.

Today we met Gonzo, a mexican friend of mine from Belgium. He took us onto a Partyboat at the Xochimilco lake with his friends. We learned a lot about the legends around this lake. One is about a lot of dolls, we even went to the Island and saw all of them hanging on the trees. It was kinda creepy. On another Island we could hold a cute lizard. We had the full mexican experience with a lot of Tequila shots and mexican music! At the end everyone was too drunk to drive, so I drove us through whole Mexico City with 7 people in the car. We were happy that the police didn’t stop us. After a nice restaurant we somehow ended up at a housparty at a really fancy house full of Whitexicans (rich, white mexicans). We had a lot of fun and slept than at Lucas place because it was too late to go all the way to Gonzo.
