Itzaccihuatl Vulkan 4.210m

Heute gings zu einer 12h Tour auf den Vulkan Itzaccihuatl!
Von dort hatten wir einen wunderbaren Blick auf den aktiven Supervulkan Popocatépetl 🌋
Ganz nach oben sind wir nicht gewandert, sondern bis zum Basecamp. Er ist insgesamt 5230m.
Trotzdem unsere höchste Wanderung bisher mit 4210m !!
Wobei man dazusagen muss, dass Puebla bereits bei 2100m liegt und wir von 3100 weg gewandert sind. Mit Oximeter (niedrigster Wert ganz oben: 74% SpO2) und sehr qualifizierten Guide hat alles super geklappt😊

Und am Abend gingen wir aus mit Ana und Lukas. Ana ist Einheimische direkt aus Puebla und zeigte uns in der Stadt herum. Sie konnte sogar deutsch, weil sie in Deutschland leben möchte 🙌

Today we hiked with a 12 hour Tour on the Volcano Itzaccihuatl! This one is inactive but we had a really good view over the active supervolcano Popocatépetl 🌋 We didn’t hike up to the top (5230m) because that would take more than one day. But we still made it to the Basecamp at the hight of 4210m! It‘s the highest altitude we‘ve ever been so far. But the city Puebla is already at 2100m and we started our hike at 3100m. With a really experienced and funny guide and an oxymeter (lowest value was 74% SpO2) everything went well! We even saw a snake, but it was really calm🐍

In the evening Ana gave us a tour around the city Puebla and we went for dinner with her and Lukas. She is a really nice local girl that we met the day before and she even speaks german!🙌🏼Читать далее
