Our last night in the West Fjords celebrated in grand fashion- one of the best meals I’ve ever had!

Pizza 🍕 in the town of Seltjarnarnes on the way to Reykjavik. Pepperoni and olive; pear, mozzarella, blue cheese, pistachios, and arugula; and another (not pictured) with Parma and cheeses and something else. Oh! And lots of fun with the driver’s daughter, Lana, my new bus bestie!Read more

Nice hotel, rested and walked around in one of my favorite cities, where a woman can feel safe walking alone. So many cultures are represented in food options, and there’s art everywhere!

Learned about a project that integrates support and services for students facing all kinds of challenges, presented by representatives of the Office of Education and Public Health. They trust their teachers and put the child in the center of every case. Spent some time seeing Hafnarfjörður too.Read more

Department of School and Recreation, Ministry of Education and Children, conversations with 4 Icelandic teachers, lunch at Kastrup. Learned a lot!
